Do you offer shipping?
Yes! We do have sweet treats available for nationwide shipping. Smaller (one dozen) custom macaron orders are also available for shipping. Although we securely package your order, we do not recommend shipping for wedding or bulk orders as macarons are fragile and some breakage could occur during transit.
Does Simply Sweet Confections have a storefront?
No brick and mortar, yet! At this time we are a pop up bakery and we operate out of a shared kitchen space. Find us inside Chef Shack at 1003 Lake Drive SE in Grand Rapids, MI. We will continue to update our social media platforms with pop-up events as they are scheduled.
Are your macarons gluten free?
Most of our handcrafted macarons are naturally gluten free, but we do have a few flavors that are not. However, all of our macarons can be modified as needed. All macarons contain the following allergens: dairy, eggs, tree nuts.
Do you offer vegan macarons?
Yes! Contact us to see our current vegan flavor offerings. Dairy free and nut free Macarons are also available by request.
*At Simply Sweet Confections, we are happy to be able to help provide options for those with diet preferences and allergy restrictions. Although we strive to keep our areas clean and free of other elements when making these creations, everything you see in our shop is proudly baked in-house and made from scratch in our shared kitchen space. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that some of the items labeled as gluten free and vegan do not contain traces of other ingredients. Thank you for understanding!
How do I store my macarons?
It is important to store your macarons in an airtight container in the refrigerator if not consumed within 12 hours. Refrigerated macarons should be consumed within 3-5 days.
For maximum freshness, you can store them in an airtight container in the freezer. When frozen, macarons can last up to 3 months.
Macarons thaw within 10-20 minutes and should be enjoyed at room temperature.
How do I place an order?
To place an order, fill out the order form on our website. Nani will contact you within 48 hours to finalize your order details. From there we will work together to solidify designs & payment. Please note that all messages submitted through the contact form are strictly inquiries, and all orders are subject to availability. When order details are finalized, submitting your payment secures your order date.
How much notice is required for orders?
We request a minimum of two weeks notice on all orders. All custom orders require a minimum of 6 macarons. (This does not apply to weekly promotions or pop-up purchases)
Can you make large orders for weddings, graduation parties, etc?
Yes! For inquiries, please contact us for availability. We do recommend reaching out to us at least 3-4 weeks in advance, especially if it's a large order (4+ dozen).
What is the refund policy?
Any order canceled within one month from pickup/delivery date will be refunded the purchase price minus 5%. Any order canceled within 2 weeks of pickup/delivery date will be refunded the purchase price minus 50%. Any order canceled within one week or less of pickup date will not be refunded. If size or quantity changes need to be made to your order, you have until 2 weeks prior to make any needed changes. No further changes will be allowed within 2 weeks of your order date.
Do you cater to events outside of Michigan?
We love to travel! Please inquire regarding our schedule and travel availability. Additional travel fees vary by location.
