I am so happy you’re here! I’m Nani —baker, artist, and face behind Simply Sweet Confections. I’ve always had the dream of running my own bakery and making sweet treats..but life happens and before you know it you’re working a 9-5 job in a career you’re not particularly passionate about. It pays the bills so you put the dream on the back burner.. pun intended :) At least that’s what happened to me! Years later, my dream resurfaced while I was on maternity leave with my first daughter and was dreading the thought of going back to work full time. I started baking again, specifically perfecting my French macaron recipe and spent my days in the kitchen with my baby girl, covered in powdered sugar and loving every minute of it.
I now have two beautiful girls, and it has been a blessing to run my business from home while also juggling being a mom and wife. Most of my days are filled with chaos and cookies and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
It truly is a passion of mine to bake something special for you and your loved ones. My hope is that my Macarons will bring a smile to your faces when you order from Simply Sweet Confections.

"My most vivid childhood memories take place in the kitchen alongside my mom as we sang, danced and cooked together. Our bakes were not particularly fancy - just simple, comforting and delicious. Gradually, baking became my favorite thing to do.
As a senior in high school, I enrolled in a program focusing on Baking & Pastry Arts. What began as an effort to avoid another strenuous Calculus class blossomed into something beautiful - a passion for baking. For me, baking is a creative way to express myself to others...to show an expression of love. It's not always about making something sweet to eat - It's about making someone happy."
